by distinguished author James Lerman as one of the
best Web sites for teachers on the Internet today.
Mr. Lerman went through an exhaustive and rigorous
process to select sites for his book 101 Best Web
Sites for Secondary Teachers, published by the International
Society for Technology in Education.
The
Exploratorium's Global
Climate Change site received a Pirelli
INTERNETional Award for environmental
publishing. the site also won an Honorable mention
in the database category at the prestigious MUSE
Awards at the American Association of Museums
conference.
The Webby
Award for Best Science Website in 1997,
1998, 1999, and 2004 and for the Best Education
Website in 2002.
We
also received a Webby nomination for our
"Science
of Hockey" site for the Best Sports Site
in 1998.
