On
April 22, 2000, we peered inside the thinking brain using state
of the art functional magnetic resonance imaging. A live video
link connected us to the Richard M. Lucas Center for Imaging at
Stanford University where scientists Gary Glover and John Desmond
conducted cognitive tests on an Exploratorium Staffer. Imaging
tools displayed the active areas of the brain in real time. Does
the human brain respond differently to the Rolling Stones than
to Enya? Watch the archived webcast and find out!
