King is the director of the CILS project at Kings College,
London.
Most recently, King conducted a government-funded education
research project for a group of international aid agencies
designed to test and develop teaching and learning materials
to support the new Citizenship curriculum in England
and Wales. She was also involved in developing learning
resources for Environmental and Human Rights Education.
Prior to this King worked at the Natural History Museum
in London, developing programmes for schools and family
groups. She also worked on new exhibition design and
conducted research into the public understanding of
science, the nature of science presented by Museum exhibits
and the role of art and theatre in science communication.
