In Slow Blue the visitor can observe how one’s eyes respond more slowly to blue light than to red or green light. Three colored lights project small dots of color on a screen. Moving the handle on this exhibit back and forth causes the spots to move back and forth on the screen. Although all three spots are moving together at the same rate, your eyes perceive the blue spot as lagging behind the red and green spots.
