Circles of Magnetism
(magnetism)

Circles of Magnetism shows the magnetic field surrounding a wire with a large electric current flowing through it. Our “wire” is a piece of 1 inch diameter copper rod which has 350 amps flowing through it! The magnetic field created causes compasses mounted in a table around the wire to line up with the field as far away as 18” from the wire.
