Gravity Well
(motion)

Children and adults alike will spend hours orbiting steel balls (or coins) into the hyperbolic funnel of this fiberglass dish, and watch them accelerate and decelerate before dropping into the center hole. This exhibit combines a visual demonstration of Kepler's laws of planetary motion with the option to raise money by using the Gravity Well as a donation-attracting device.
