In Parting Water a steady flow of water through a pipe creates a seamless dome of water. The unbroken water wall traps the fine mist pumped into the fountain and releases it in billows when the flow is disturbed by the touch of a hand or the placement of any object over the top of the pipe. Visitors can sculpt water by placing different objects in the flow.
