Cafe Wall Explainer
(vision - boundaries and edges)

The Cafe Wall Illusion consists of white and black tiles that at first glance, seem to hang down at each end. The tiles are in a straight line, but they look like they could be in a zig-zag pattern. This happens because of the gray grout that holds the tiles together. This exhibit lets you change the color of the tiles and grout to see how you can change the illusion.
