Fovea Blinder
(reaction time, nerve processes)

The light will temporarily blind a small area at the back of your eye called the fovea. The fovea is responsible for letting you focus in on the details of everything you see. Stare directly into the red-ringed circle, press the button to set off the flash, and then look around as the light fades to see if you can read words and see details.
