Founded in 1997, this unique organization investigates the history of humankind from an interdisciplinary point of view. Scientists from many fields—primatology, linguistics, evolutionary anthropology, genetics, psychology—are united under one roof in a collaboration designed to yield new insights into the history, variety, and abilities of the human species.
