Circular Deformations

Circular Deformations is a group of rotating disks that challenge your normal sense of shape. Each deformation is created by the tendency of your eyes and brain to interpret expansion and contraction as movement toward or away from us. You also normally expect motion going in one direction to continue in that direction. The patterns include double-ended spirals, rotating cones, circles without common centers, and ovals with disappearing lines.
