Doppler Effect

Visitors experience an auditory example of the Doppler effect. An electric whistle runs around a loop stretching from the floor to the ceiling. The pitch of the whistle appears higher or lower depending on whether the whistle is approaching or receding. Visitors can control the speed of the loop to observe how the effect is related to velocity.
