Light and the Eye

Light and the Eye is a model of the human eye retina and lens. By placing a hand in front of the model, the visitor can see how images are formed on the retina. Light reflected from an object transmits information to the eye. This information is then focused onto the retina by the lens of the eye, and an image is created. In a real eye, the retina processes this image for the brain to interpret.
