Motion
Detector demonstrates how sensitive peripheral vision
is to motion. While sitting with their head at the center
of a large semi-circle, visitors can adjust an object,
either moving or stationary, around the edge of the
semi-circle. At a certain point, the object in the visitor's
peripheral vision is no longer visible. If the object
begins moving, however, visitors will become aware of
it, even though could not see it while it was stationary.
