Traffic Illusion

Even though you may see ghost-like forms racing around the circles, nothing in this picture is really moving. Viewers see this illusion when they look at certain arrangements of colored objects and high-contrast patterns of lines. Scientist are still debating what causes the "traffic illusion" effect, so named because moving forms appear to follow avenues.
