Water Waves

A multimonitor video installation, the key aspect Water Waves is the illusion of water movement in time and space across the video horizon, a sensation which is further amplified by an eight-channel natural soundscape. Filmed in the Hawaiian islands, this piece highlights a wide variety of water motion, ranging from tiny ripples of raindrop rings to streaming standing waves in rivers, to ocean swells and thunderous shore breaks. The piece consists of eight videodisc players and ten video monitors.
