GRAPHIC PRODUCTION ARTIST
Design Department
Fixed-term, Full-time Position
SUMMARY:
This is primarily a graphics position with layout and production responsibilities. This position reports to the Director of the Exhibit Environments Design Department.
ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS:
- Act as production artist producing graphic layouts for exhibit labels, signage and publications
- Assist in computer-based design, illustration, and some photo manipulation
- Additional related duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2–3 years of experience in the production of graphic materials
- Strong knowledge of InDesign, QuarkXpress, Photoshop, Illustrator, and PDF format
- Detail oriented, patient person willing to work through multiple revisions of projects
- BA in Graphic Design or related field helpful
