Meta search engines are multiple search engines
will run searches simultaneously in the other
search engines and directories, or at least provide
a single page for submitting searches to other
finding aids.
Examples are:
Internet Sleuth
Most comprehensive of the meta search engines,
indexing over 1,500 searchable databases covering a
wide variety of topics. You can select up to 10
databases to search simultaneously. Good
documentation on how to use it. Great for one-word
searches.
