The Learning Commons (formerly the Library/Learning Studio) supports the educational, professional development and information needs of Exploratorium educator program alumni and museum staff by providing access to a variety of electronic, multimedia, and print-based learning resources and technology

In general, the Learning Commons is open Monday-Friday 11:00 am-5:00 pm and
Saturdays 10:30-4:00 when there is a TI Workshop.

TI Workshops are on the following dates:

Mar. 1, 15, 22
Apr. 12, 19,26
May 3, 10

The Learning Commons will be CLOSED January 21, February 18, May 26, July 4, September 1, November 27 and December 25, 2008.

Open hours are subject to change. Please call 415/561-0343 to check that we’re open.

Materials can be checked out by staff and alumni of our teacher professional development programs.
