The news is out! The Exploratorium, located at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco's Marina District since 1969, will be moving in 2013! The new location at Pier 15 is on the Embarcadero, which runs along the city's historic eastern waterfront. With twice the space, the Exploratorium will be able to expand its exhibit experience, both inside and out, and enhance access to new learning opportunities. Our new home will also place the Exploratorium at the heart of the city, with greater visitor access from around the Bay and beyond.
