The first in a series on automotive science, this webcast will explain all about braking systems. How do disc brakes work? Are there other kinds of brakes? What kind of maintenance should you be doing? Join High School Explainers as they visit a repair shop.
The Exploratorium Explainers are made up of two different groups, the Field Trip Explainers and the High School Explainers. The Field Trip Explainers are a group of experienced educators who love working with kids. The High School Explainers are students from the Bay Area and from around the world who come together to participate in a teaching and learning experience at the museum. Both groups work to support, inspire, and empower the Exploratorium visitors.
