Founding Membership

Looking forward to our new site at Pier 15? Become a Founding Member! With our spring 2013 move to Pier 15, the Exploratorium is entering a new era. Join or renew your membership as a Founding Member and become part of this exciting transition.

ASTRONOMICAL Members Appreciation Night

We love our members to an astronomical degree. Join us in a celebration of all things celestial! The beginning of our event coincides with a partial solar eclipse just before sunset, so enjoy some time outside, grab a bite to eat, and watch as the shadow of the moon blocks out the middle of the sun, leaving a glowing ring around the dark central disk. At our location, we won't see the complete ring, but we'll see about 90 percent—an astronomical evening! More information on our Member Events page.
