Back-to-School Kids’ Night Out
Give your kids—and yourselves—a night to remember. Children ages 5 and older are invited to spend an evening enjoying special activities, group games, and free time in the Exploratorium while parents have a fun time elsewhere! This Members-only event costs $40 for one child plus $25 for each additional child under the same Membership. An optional pizza dinner will be provided for $5 per child. A Family-level Membership allows participation for up to 4 children so feel free to bring a friend along!

Members’ Evening Hours: Celebrate the Mezzanine!
The second level of the Exploratorium, otherwise known as the Mezzanine, is always bustling with activity, whether it’s live dissections, a peek at life under a microscope, or a Drawing Board masterpiece. On October 1, special evening activities will highlight the action on the Mezzanine, where you can visit some of our classic exhibits as well as discover brand-new favorites. The rest of the museum will be open as well so take a stroll around before joining us upstairs! You don’t need reservations; just bring your Membership card and photo ID.

Kids’ Night Out
Send your kids to the Exploratorium for an unforgettable evening while you have a night to yourself or get a head start on holiday shopping! Holiday Party and Shopping Night: Come Play with Your Food!
We encourage you to play with your food and get a taste of the science behind what we eat at this year’s Members’ Holiday Party. Fruit and vegetable dissections, hands-on activities about perceptions of food, a tasty scavenger hunt, and more will leave you thinking about food in a new way! Refreshments and free gift wrapping will be provided. Watch for your invitation in the mail.
