Meet Mad Professor Author Mark Frauenfelder
Meet the Author — Do Cool Science Projects!
April 19, 2003, 12-3:00pm.

Join author Mark Frauenfelder as he demonstrates cool science projects from his book, Mad Professor, at the Exploratorium Store on April 19th from 12:00 to 3:00. Broken into four sections, the book provides basic science lessons before diving into the experiments, which include everything from making miniature robots to growing crystal gardens. The public is invited to have fun doing hands-on science, and perhaps buy a signed copy of the book to take home.

Mark Frauenfelder has been interested in science since he was a child. A former editor of Wired and now a full-time science and culture writer, Frauenfelder remains a dedicated amateur scientist.
