Children's Science Classes for Members
Life Science
Sunday, April 27

Send your favorite kid to some cool science classes. The Exploratorium offers Children’s Science Classes for Members on April 27 on the topic of Life Sciences. Classes are described below and are for members of the Exploratorium at $30 each, and anyone can become a member. Sign up online at www.exploratorium.edu/membership/classes.html. Questions? Please call (415) 561-0302 or email member@exploratorium.edu. The schedule is as follows:

Ages 3-4 with an Adult Companion
2-3pm
Hide-n-Seek

Some creatures play the best game of hide-n-seek! They are camouflaged, which makes them hard to see in their natural environment. In this class, we will play games and hear stories about how these critters hide so well.

Ages 5-6
2-4pm
Garden Snails

Slimy, slow and oh, so delightful… garden snails. Together we will explore, experiment with, and ask questions about these creatures and their environment.

Ages 7-9
2-4pm
Dig It

Come explore the world of dirt! We will closely examine and experiment with all different types of soil. Discover what lives there, what grows there, and why we need it.

Ages 10-12
2-4pm
Field Study

Together we will make an in depth field study on the flora and fauna around the pond and make discoveries about the diverse natural environment that we find right here in the city.
