ARC Gloria Docks at Pier 15


The flagship of the Colombian Navy, a sailing ship called the ARC Gloria is docked at Pier 15 from Friday, October 25 to Monday, October 28. Visitors to the area will be able see the spectacular three-masted barque from Exploratorium exhibit galleries and from some publicly accessible areas surrounding Piers 15 and 17.

The ship’s captain and crew are offering public access to the ship from 9 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, Sunday, October 27, and Monday, October 28.

Access to the ARC Gloria is provided solely by the ship’s captain and crew. Visits to the ship are self-guided, with a capacity of approximately 100 people on board at a time. Visitors will be able to see selected areas of the ship, and a small collection of indigenous art from Colombia. Part of the Exploratorium’s agreement with the Port of San Francisco, is to provide docking for certain vessels at Pier 15.

Hours of Operation & New Evening Hours
Tuesday-Sunday 10am-5pm;  every Thursday evening adults only (ages 18 and up) 6pm-10pm.

$29 for adults, with lower rates for SF Bay Area residents, youth, seniors, students, teachers and the disabled. Tickets available at the door and advance tickets available online at www.exploratorium.edu/visit/tickets.
