Join the Exploratorium for an exciting two-week cosmic adventure! Exploratorium Summer Day Camp is held Monday-Friday, 9am—4pm, and is available only to Exploratorium members. The cost is $460 for a two-week session. Sessions are as follows:

Session Dates Ages Before-Care After-Care

Optional extended care is available for an additional $8/camper/hour. Care after 5pm is limited to availability.

Among the topics the camp explores are:

What would it be like to live on another planet? Experience the sights, sounds and feel of an imaginary day on another planet!

What is NASA doing to study the universe? Look at recent research and learn about the Cassini-Huygens mission to Saturn and the Mars Rovers mission. Make models of planets and an egg-drop lander.

What do comets, planets and empty space really look like? Create a model comet from dry ice and other materials.

Bring your questions and ideas about space, and be ready to explore and play.

The Exploratorium Summer Day camp strives to strike a balance between curiosity-driven free time and content-based activities, which incorporate both structured and open-ended, self-directed learning.
