Environmental enrichment enhances the overall well-being of captive animals by providing for their physical and psychological needs. In this Exploratorium lecture series that

explores the animal mind, learn about the San Francisco Zoo’s Enrichment Program and join zookeeper Kelly Gomez in the Exploratorium’s McBean Theater on Saturday, June 9 at 1pm for live animal demonstrations (including a small mammal and a bird or reptile) that capture a variety of enrichment activities.
