Family Investigation Workshop: Cow Eye Dissection
Saturday, November 5, 2011
2 - 4 pm

Photo by Amy Snyder, © Exploratorium, All rights reservedYou may have  seen the famous cow eye dissections at the Exploratorium -  now you’ll have a chance to go behind the scenes and dissect one yourself! On Saturday, November 5, from 2 - 4 pm, families (with children 7 years and older) will be able to take part in a special anatomy lesson on the structure of the eye. Utilizing a real cow's eye, we’ll focus on noticing its details, and learn about the function of its parts.

Exploration, activities, and discussions help families learn together through intergenerational, hands-on experiences.  Registration is required for this workshop.  For more information - and to register, please call (415) 561-0321, or send an email to memberprograms@exploratorium.edu
