One Day Camp: Journey of Food - March 16, 2012

Spring One Day Camp: The Journey of Food - Culinary Adventures and the Human Body
Friday, March 16
9 am – 4 pm

Youth ages 7-10 years will discover the science behind food after we eat it. Take a walk on the wild side -- inside your body -- with a human metabolism obstacle course and a close encounter with yeast beasties. Leave with a better understanding of how your body takes in and processes food.  Extended care is available: 8:30 am – 9 am and 4 pm – 5:30 pm. ($70 for Members; $85 Non-members) For more information, please call (415) 561-0321.

Camp isn’t just for summer anymore! Kids can now go to camp when school is out -- on select SF public school holidays and furlough days. Great for working families!

Each of our one-day camps offers playful and creative opportunities for children to explore the world around them using a mix of science activities, experiments, art projects, group games, our vast exhibit collection, and more. Every session includes curiosity-driven free exploration in the Exploratorium before it opens to the public. As always, please check the online schedule to confirm details.
