All materials are provided, and visitors can take home what they make. Physics of Toys is included in the price of admission to the Exploratorium. The scheduled is as follows:

Physics of Toys: Fun in the Sun

What better way to prepare for the total solar eclipse on August 1 than by playing with your own solar toys? Join the team in making solar-powered gadgets and solar system toys.

How do you get from here to there? By car? Boat? Plane? Step into the shoes of an engineer with the Physics of Toys team and design and build your own paddleboat, film-can racers, and hovercraft.
