Third Annual Stop & Go Filmfest - July 14, 2012

Third Annual Stop & Go 3-D Animation Festival
An International Film Festival Taking Place Exclusively at the Exploratorium
2 pm Saturday, July 14, 2012
McBean Theater

The Third Annual Stop & Go 3D animation festival takes place on Saturday, July 14, 2012 in the Exploratorium’s McBean Theater. This annual mini-festival is a round-up of short films which travels the world, with only one exclusive date in San Francisco this year - at the Exploratorium. Stop & Go 3D presents a broad range of emerging works in the field of stop-motion animation, and pushes the boundaries of cinematic possibility by showcasing a diversity of techniques.  The short films, culled from all over the world, include works that play with perceptual illusions and 3-D experimentation.  This show is curated by Sarah Klein, who will be here in person for a post-program Q&A.
