|We got to the Palo Alto Airport and unloaded all three cars (OK, one was a sports car...) and then decided how to fit all that stuff into the plane. It took about 2 hours to fit and secure all the "essentials" and we finally got off the ground around 2:00 PM.|
The flight was beautiful and smooth as we traveled east over the Sierras just north of Yosemite. We could see Half-Dome sticking out of the valley. Passing over Mono Lake, we made a right turn south and headed for our first stop, Las Vegas.
|What can be said about Las Vegas that hasn't been said before? We stayed at the Excalibur. The picture says is all. All the rooms have blackout curtains. These are not for daytime, they keep the blinding Las Vegas strip night lights from keeping you awake!|
