The Exploratorium Lab is the Exploratorium’s young professionals group dedicated to nurturing peoples’ curiosity about the world around them and building a new audience for the Exploratorium. The Exploratorium Lab offers its members opportunities to experience the excitement and wonders of the Exploratorium from an adult perspective.

Social Opportunities

We believe that getting together with friends for a cocktail or meeting new people over a beer can be fun and educational. Enjoy the Lab’s unique twist on happy hour with complimentary admission to Members parties held throughout the year. Past themes have included the Science of Beer, the Science of Cars, and the Science of Sailing.

After Dark

Experience life After Dark, an evening series exclusively for adults that mixes cocktails, conversation, and playful, innovative science and art events. Lab members receive complimentary admission to all After Dark events as well as complimentary admission to the Exploratorium year-round.

Unique Special Events

Receive advance notice and preferred ticketing for the Lab’s signature event, Science of Cocktails, and for the Exploratorium’s Annual Spring Gala After Party.

Lifelong Learning Opportunities

Enjoy special access to lecture series where we discuss the days most cutting-edge and emerging social and scientific issues.
