Place, took a break from rock climbing while she was in California
this spring to sit down with us here at the Exploratorium to
do some advance planning for TexNET.
Lucinda is looking
to build bridges into
her community and her
deep commitment to
merge art and science
drove us as we brainstormed
programming ideas for
the TexNET exhibit
sets. Her excitement
is infectious and
in just over an hour
we had pages and pages
of ideas to explore
and pursue.
Lucinda’s concerns
about marketing TexNET
to the local community
inspired our efforts
to create prototype
marketing
pieces that would be
useful and effective
for the partners in
Tyler, Laredo, and
Lubbock.
