took a tour through
East Texas with Lucinda,
and the many meetings
have been declared
a resounding success.
That tired looking
man in the photo
above presented on
TexNET eight times
in two days. Great
publicity accompanied
the rollout in Tyler
(which Discovery
Science Place has
archived). The Texas
Commission on the
Arts (TCA) and the
Texas Educators Association
(TEA) are now interested
in TexNET, and there
is even more excitement
at Discovery Science
Place than there
had been (if that
could be possible).
Everyone's expertise,
enthusiasm, and engagement
made for a highly
successful launch
to the new exhibit
sets.
