Out hunting for big game, everyone’s favorite hot-headed duck, Donald, mistakenly stumbles into Mathmagic Land. Initially put off by this nightmarish vision of what he dubs “egghead stuff,” Donald is slowly won over as he realizes that math underlies some of his favorite things. From music to sculpture, Donald’s misconceptions about math are transformed through fun, whimsical, and (uh-oh!) educational vignettes. A beloved early cartoon, Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land (1959) remains an accurate and delightful introduction to mathematical principles.
