Free admission on first Wednesday of each month; however, due to capacity limits, groups of 10 or more are required to make reservations or will not be admitted.

Each year the Exploratorium receives hundreds of requests for ticket donations to support fundraising efforts by nonprofit organizations in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.The Exploratorium will donate two complimentary general admission tickets upon request, per calendar year, to nonprofit organizations that directly benefit children’s education. Exploratorium Store
Like the Exploratorium itself, the Exploratorium Store is full of fascinating things to look at, play with and learn from - for everyone from toddlers to teenagers to so-called grown-ups - in every price range.
The store is open every day the museum is open.
All store proceeds support the activities of the Exploratorium. And all Exploratorium Members receive a 20% discount on purchases. Stop by the store or shop online.
