This floorwalk is tailored to anyone who never wants to suffer through another bad date.
Begin your date at our Heat Camera (near the main office). Here you and your date can find out how hot you both really are. First, try touching each other to feel who is hotter. Then step in front of the camera to see if you were right. Don’t worry if one of you is not very hot—that can easily be fixed with a little more touching as your bodies transfers heat from warm to cool! Or maybe the two of you will heat up the camera together. . . .
Now that you’ve determined that you’re both hot, you’re ready to try your skills in the next most important part of any relationship’communication. Head over to our two Listening Vessels (in the skylight area). Tear yourselves away from one another and each take one seat. Now you can whisper sweet nothings to one another, and no one else in the museum can hear you’or can they? Maybe you should try to eavesdrop on other people’s conversations before you get too carried away.
Continuing checking your communication skills at Emotion Tracer (in the Mind section in the back of the museum). Now’s your chance to find out those dirty little secrets. You can take turns asking each other your burning questions, and see what our lie detector test reveals. Will the truth set you free?
You know it’s true love when you feel that special “spark.” Not every couple has it though—do you? You can feel for it at Finger Tingler (upstairs). Hold hands tightly. Both of you should use a finger on your free hand to touch the metal. Have someone else crank up the electricity and see if you can let the sparks flow!
So your date is going really well and now you’re ready to think about children. Go over to Everyone Is You and Me (in the hallway near the restrooms). Where else are you going to get the chance to hybridize your faces and see with your own eyes how lovely your potential offspring could look?! Sit down across from one another and position your faces so that your heads are the same size and your features are aligned. Adjust your light until an image appears that successfully combines your beautiful faces. Like what you see?
