	The Nautilus is exploring the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean looking for hydrothermal vents and the animal and microbial communities that spring up around them, as well as seeking underwater volcanoes and ancient shipwrecks. The ship is equipped with two remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) along with telepresence technology that beams real-time video feeds from the ROVs to scientists on shore. Follow along with expedition leader Bob Ballard and his crew as they investigate parts of the deep sea that have never been seen before.
