Hydra
| The
tiny organisms seen in this exhibit are freshwater animals called
hydras. While hydras can reproduce sexually under the right conditions,
they often reproduce through a process called budding. Little growths
sprout from the parent’s body. These buds eventually break
off and grow into adult hydras. |
