BOILING
When a liquid reaches a certain critical temperature, any added heat will go into changing the liquid into a gas. This temperature is the boiling point. Boiling is very rapid evaporization. Because hot vapor escapes the liquid and takes energy with it, boiling can be thought of as a cooling process
(for the remaining liquid anyway).
