6th NGSS STEM Conference

Investigating Everyday Phenomena: Exploring 3-Dimensional Learning through NGSS

Saturday, March 2, 2019 • 9:00 a.m.–4 p.m.
Exploratorium, Pier 15

Note: Tickets are limited, so register early!

Science is all around us, and the California Next Generation Science Standards (CA NGSS) can help your students understand it. Join us as we engage in activities for your science classroom (grades 3–12) incorporating the three dimensions of NGSS. Spend a day at the Exploratorium investigating the science of everyday phenomena.

Presented by the Exploratorium’s Teacher Institute, the Institute for Inquiry, and the Tinkering Studio, this full-day conference features a keynote address and your choice of three hands-on workshops.

Breakfast and lunch will be included, and participants will have access to all the conference handouts and activities online. One semester unit of Continuing Education credit will be available for an additional fee.

NOTE: There is a $50 registration fee. A 50% discount is available for teachers from Title I schools. A limited number of travel stipends are available to support participants traveling from outside the Bay Area.
