We're Changing the Way Science is Taught
How do you turn students into critical thinkers? We believe it’s with inquiry-based, hands-on, and open-ended learning. To that end, we’ve trained thousands of science and math teachers and provided free online classroom tools to a million-plus educators worldwide.
Investing in Bay Area Teens
Since 1969, the High School Explainer program has welcomed more than 3,500 students to explore STEM fields while gaining career and life skills. During our closure, we're reimagining the program for future generations of Explainers.

Welcoming All Young Scientists to Pier 15
Every kid deserves an “aha!” moment here. About 62,000 students, chaperones, and teachers from Title I schools receive free field trip admission each year.

Anyone can experience themselves as a scientist with our Tinkering Studio, building and adjusting playful explorations of phenomena such as light and motion.
