The Exploratorium thanks our Luminary Partners for their generous contributions to the museum and our education programs year after year. We acknowledge the impact of their support that allows us to work to transform the way the world learns by combining resources, collaborating, and innovating together.
With over 10 years of partnership, Genentech and the Exploratorium continue to grow their relationship and find new ways of working together. In 2016, Genentech became our lead partner for a high-impact Living Systems initiative that will launch in 2019. In addition to their dedication to our Living Systems program, Genentech provides free Exploratorium admission for all of California’s public school teachers, supports the Title I Field Trips, and sponsors our annual NGSS STEM Education Teacher Conferences hosted by the Exploratorium Teacher Institute.
For close to 50 years, PG&E and the Exploratorium have shared a common goal to empower people to build their understanding of STEM careers, energy efficiency, and sustainable thinking. PG&E supports our inquiry-based exhibits and activities that focus on energy and sustainability, as well as our environmental and education initiatives. They also sponsor our Title I Field Trips, offering free admission to public schools and students federally designated as Title I. Over 62,000 students, chaperones, and teachers from Title I schools visit the Exploratorium through the program each year.
