An epic playdate by the Bay

Thank you for attending Wonder Funday 2024. We hope you had a Bay-utiful day at Pier 15! 

Over 250 kids, parents and grandparents joined in on the fun and embarked on an expedition of the Bay. Together, we got our hands dirty by exploring the nutrient-rich mud from right under the Exploratorium, creating beautiful nature prints using the sun, and studying plankton under a microscope. 

Your family’s generous support of Wonder Funday helps the Exploratorium fund community access programs including:

• Field Trips: Last year alone, the Exploratorium’s Field Trip program welcomed over 86,000 students, educators, and chaperones from 46 counties across California. 
• Community Family Passes: In 2023, select Bay Area community-based organizations provided over 1,500 families with passes for free admission to the Exploratorium. 
• Community Science Workshops: For 30 years the Exploratorium has worked with informal learning centers in underserved communities across California to engage diverse audiences of children and youth in science and discovery.
