Ahra Jo
Ahra Jo is a learning designer with an academic background in spatial design, psychology, and art education. She enjoys sharing the delight of the design process with people as a form of constructive learning. She truly believes that learning is a type of communication and collaboration between a facilitator and a learner.

Ahra is currently a curriculum developer for Different Doors, an informal learning setting in Seoul, S.Korea. She also collaborates with a couple of public institutions to share hands-on activities. Her long-term goal is to broaden the understanding of the learner-centered practice and the efficiency of learning through making and tinkering.

Ahra was in residence at the Tinkering Studio for her graduate-internship experience. During that time, she facilitated many tinkering activities and participated in weekly R&D sessions mainly using LEGO motors, BBC Microbit, and automata.
