Eun Young Park is a true believer in the interconnectivity between seemingly different domains and thinks that recognizing it helps making a novel outcome. Her recent work, LINKKI is a linkage-based toy or a learning tool with which users can design movement to tell stories, draw, prototype and learn basic mechanisms. She took note that it could bridge various areas such as design, mechanics, mathematics and biomechanics. Her long term goal is to continue to design product, space, and experience for the goal of play and playful learning.
She came to the Tinkering Studio to share her ideas behind LINKKI and to show her work at the Bay Area Maker Faire 2016 in the Exploratorium booth.
