September 18, 2014 • 02:12
Watch as guests of Exploratorium After Dark collaborate in a hands-on, ears-on exploration of musical cultures from every continent with educator Michael Bradke. Explore the interconnections between music and movement, dance, language, mathematics, the expression of feelings, and the use of the body as an instrument while experimenting with musical games, curious mouth noises, different clapping rhythms, and more. A longtime friend of the Exploratorium, Michael Bradke is a musician, music ethnographer, educator, and musical exhibit and instrument designer. He is the founder of the Mobile Music Museum based in Düsseldorf, Germany, and an Exploratorium Osher Fellow.
