In this visually oriented public briefing, San Francisco Estuary Institute (SFEI) scientists shared cutting-edge science on Bay shoreline restoration and adaptation, translating recent advances and critical findings to inform the Resilient by Design Challenge design teams. The briefing drew on key data sources, valuable planning and assessement tools, and collaborative projects addressing shoreline resilience, adaptation strategies, and green infrastructure in the Bay.
SFEI is a regional science center established by government, NGO, and private organizations to provide independent science for environmental management. SFEI serves as a key science advisor for the Resilient by Design Challenge. This is a joint program of the Exploratorium's Fisher Bay Observatory Gallery and Resilient By Design.
